These terms and conditions can be changed at any time at the discretion of Nichols & Co. Any use by you of this website, after these changes, will constitute your agreement of these new terms and conditions. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email with the total value of your order that will be debited from your credit/debit card. This email will also include a payment reference number. The reference number must be quoted in all correspondence with regard to the purchase.
We will contact you by e-mail or telephone, if we are unable to complete your order following our order acknowledgement (see section Returns/Exchange Policy).
We are under no obligation to supply the products ordered unless they are in stock and price as stated.
If there is a delay in the provision of the item we will contact you by email to inform you of this.
In the event of your order not being accepted, or if it has been cancelled (as per Returns/Exchange Policy), the goods will not be dispatched to you.
Orders will not be accepted for the following reasons:
1) An item you have ordered is not in stock.
2) Your payment is not authorised.
3) There is an error with either the product or the pricing.
Nichols & Co will do its best to keep the website as current as possible, however, we cannot guarantee that a specific item will always be available. If a specific item cannot be supplied, we will inform you by e-mail and refund your purchase immediately.
If Nichols & Co discover that a pricing error has been made, Nichols & Co reserve the right to suspend the order and will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. Nichols & Co are under no obligation to supply goods at the incorrect price. Nichols & Co make no claims to the accuracy of their website, either expressed or implied. Nichols & Co reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.
Payment can be made online by Visa/MasterCard/AmericanExpress/Switch/Debit cards. Orders can also be placed by telephone.
In the event of your card issuer refusing payment, Nichols & Co will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. We also reserve the right to cancel your order. Vouchers cannot be used for online purchases
We aim to ensure that your purchased items will be delivered to the specified person and place of your choice, in perfect condition as expediently as possible. You will be required to provide a signature upon delivery of all shipped goods. The UK and overseas orders will be shipped by Royal Mail.

All perfumes are limited to shipping within UK only. Each purchase is insured by us during it's time in transit. You can request a tracking number for the order. Any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer. Most orders will be dispatched within 3 working days subject to credit clearance, address verification and availability of items (unless same day delivery has been requested). In the event that we cannot deliver to you within the time specified, or an item is out of stock, we will let you know and try to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you will be offered a full refund or exchange of item as per Return/Exchange Policy.
The returns procedure is as follows :
1) If you wish to receive a refund for an item, you must let us know you want to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods. This must be done by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then receive a return authorisation reference number.

2) You must write your return authorisation reference number on your original receipt and enclose it with the item you are returning. (Any items that are not accompanied by the returns number will not be accepted). Items must be returned to the store within 14 days of being issued with a returns authorisation number.
Any returned items received after the 14 days of the returns authorisation number being received are accepted at the sole discretion of Nichols & Co. It is essential that, in order to receive a refund or exchange, the item(s) must be unworn, in perfect condition, all the labels attached and in original packaging. Earrings and socks are non-returnable unless faulty.
Signs of use will result in an item not being accepted as returned. In such cases, we will return the item(s) to the purchaser. Any refunds will be re-credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card for the sum paid less any taxes, duties and postal costs. We are not responsible for goods lost/damaged in transit, therefore we advise you to return items by registered post. The postal costs for returned goods are the responsibility of the customer and will only be reimbursed if the goods are damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied. For international returns please indicate on any export documentation or on the address label that the item(s) enclosed are returned goods. This ensures we are not charged any duty or taxes on receiving goods back into the UK. If this procedure is not followed, this cost may be passed onto the customer at the discretion of Nichols & Co. The customer's statutory rights are unaffected.
